Currently we are enjoying a weekend with J’s family in Arkansas.
The boys are getting lots of disc golf and football watching in which means lots of book reading and catch-up writing for Rach.
A few weeks ago we met up with my sister, her husband, and my parents at a state park to do a little “camping”.
I use the term loosely because there were no tents in sight.
We stayed in a cozy cabin, canoed down the river, and ate all of the s’mores.
The weather was beautiful – right between hot and chilly which allowed for several talks around the fire and early morning reading amongst the trees.
I sure do like these families we have.
This game was the most hilarious ninety-nine cents I’ve ever spent.
Here’s to hoping this becomes an annual beginning of fall tradition.
Do you prefer rugged camping or “cabinning”?
