WHITE WALLS & BOXES

It’s been a busy, tearful, stressful, messy week.
Today we signed the lease to our new home.
Josh has been a packing whirlwind.
While I’ve packed all of three boxes.
That man.

I’ve been a whirlwind of emotions.
Driving the Josh Morris absolutely crazy.
And asking for forgiveness like crazy.
I was not the biggest fan of moving.
We’d planned on two years and dagummit – two years is how long we would be here.
But since we didn’t really have a choice, we were moving and I was not a happy camper.
A big blob of “bummer” hanging over my head while packing up our things.
But now, with the boxes in the living room and the opportunity to have more furniture for friends to come over, I’m feeling pretty giddy.
While our next apartment certainly won’t have the Boyd charm, it will still be our beautiful home.
A home full of second-year-marriage memories.

Let’s make note:  boxes with glass were not marked this clearly.
The husband’s priorities.

  1. So I hope this means you found the perfect place… 🙂 I know the feeling of hating change, I wasn't a fan of our first.second and third move. The third they conveniently forgot to tell us they were tearing our house down in 2 weeks!! not my happiest moment. But you will make your place your own!
