MY LOVE | PERSONALITIES

The other night I was blog hopping.
Click, click, personality test?
Why not?
It came to no surprise that J and I are quite different.
Honestly, while it is frustrating at times, it is one of those things that just attracts me to him.
He stretches me to be less “plan” oriented.
Which needs to happen from time to time.
So we both took the quiz.
And here’s what we found…

Him:  ENTP
Her:  ISFJ
Opposites attract, ya’ll.
And while I don’t put a lot of stock in these types of “tests”- some answers really would be circumstantial and some questions are vague.  But I couldn’t help myself from saying, “Yes! That is just like me.” to some of the descriptions.  Especially the ones for Introverted, Sensing, and Judging.  While I don’t fit into those descriptions all of the time – it’s safe to say that most of the time that is my reaction. And for J the descriptions for Intuitive and Prospective were spot on.

I love these little chances to get to know my husband even more and I was so interested to hear his answers to these questions. One of my “goals” this year was to find specific ways to love Josh well. And knowing his tendencies or how he thinks has already given me a few ideas of how to encourage him.

He’s the coolest extrovert I know.

Have you ever taken a personality test?
What’d ya find?
Here’s the one we took:  http://www.16personalities.com/ if you need to kill some time.

  1. Um, so we're twins again. Definitely an ISFJ, too! And it was a little uncanny when I was reading about our personality type because it seriously fits me to a T. 🙂

Also, I do agree with you, opposites do attract! Even though I'm a definite introvert, I honestly can only see myself with extroverts. Even though we'd be totally different, I need someone to push me to get out of the house sometimes, haha. 🙂

  2. Ive taken this test a few times Im an INSP 🙂 Marcus is completely the opposite exempt that were both introverts. You should take the test again after a year or two of marriage and see if anything changes. I did for me (before and after marriage 🙂
