blog identity crisis.

Alright friends.
Or whoever’s listening.
Alright, Mom.

This whole blog business started as a way to journal through a sweet part of life.
The whole engagement season, living intentionally with roommates, and finishing up that college thing.
And really, it’s still that.
With a few changes.
I’m no longer planning a wedding.
I still have a roommate.
But just one.
Not five.
And I’m in my last semester at MSU.
Student teaching.

My topics are clearly random.
One day you might see me fail at cooking, or s diy project.
One day you might hear me soapboxing about some {random} topic.
And mostly you’ll see the daily life of the Morrises.

The past few weeks I’ve been thinking about taking this blog thing a bit more serious.
Whatever that means.

I think it means adding a little more structure to my posts.
And maybe writing more thoughtful posts instead of “here is what we had for dinner!”
Don’t worry…there will still be those sorts of posts on the “new” blog.
I just can’t help embarrassing myself.

So stay tuned,
new things are coming!

  1. I think you've made a good decision! It was fun to only chronicle life for a while, but giving my blog some direction and voice has given me a sense of purpose I didn't have before. Which, for type A me, has made it even more fun!

  2. Ooh yay! I can't wait to see what you do with your little space 🙂 Always love how honest and down to earth your posts are, hope that won't change! 🙂
