fifty | foxes.

“Catch the foxes for us,
the little foxes
that spoil the vineyards,
for our vineyards are in blossom.”
{Song of Solomon 2:15}
I’m not an expert by any means.
But I’ve heard it said once that just like the foxes can cause turmoil in a vineyard, there are things that will cause turmoil in a marriage.
And the thing is that foxes aren’t even a part of the vineyard.
It’s not like it’s the vine, grapes, or leaves that are causing turmoil.
It’s an outside thing.
And it causes calamity within in the vineyard or relationship.
So the question becomes, “How do we ‘catch’ the foxes?”
Well…I don’t know.
I’m not an expert.
But we’ll find out.
That I know.

I was able to spend almost the whole day with Josh Morris today.
I love having Fridays off to spend time with him.
We had Chinese food, then on to exploring the mall (including finding the neatest tea shop), then to one of our favorite bookstores to trade in some books. Then sent off some wedding thank you cards (finally!), and  picked up some things from “the” apartment.
Right now it’s easy to see that (a very neat and tidy) guy lives there.

Water, milk, and vanilla coke.
I mean…
What else do you need in life?
